Francesca Müller has recently assumed the role of Executive Assistant and AI Trading Strategy Coordinator at Polen Capital Asset Management (PCAM) in Europe. She plays a key role in adapting the firm’s SmartGrid™ system to German-speaking markets, with a focus on real-world application and investor engagement.
A native of Frankfurt, Francesca earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Münster and completed a master’s in Financial Engineering at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Prior to joining PCAM, she worked at a technology startup, where she specialized in market structure modeling and machine learning strategies. Her independent research into PCAM’s trading framework led to a series of constructive recommendations, which contributed to her early involvement in system testing and regional optimization.
At PCAM, she is responsible for calibrating strategy parameters to local market conditions, designing tailored investor education programs, and developing real-time feedback mechanisms. These insights help refine the SmartGrid™ model, enhancing its transparency, adaptability, and alignment with investor needs.
PCAM notes that as artificial intelligence becomes increasingly central to investment strategies, making these tools intuitive and accessible is critical. Francesca’s contributions support the firm’s broader mission to bridge technology and investor understanding across the DACH region.
